This Privacy Policy outlines how LEZ collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information obtained from users. By accessing and playing LEZ, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Personal Information Collected

LEZ collects the following personal information:

Your Steam Username: LEZ collects the Steam username associated with the user's Steam account.
Your SteamID: LEZ collects the SteamID, a unique identifier associated with the user's Steam account.
Your IP address: LEZ processes, but does not store, your IP address to determine the country associated with your account.
Your PC hardware information: LEZ collects details about your hardware, such as device model, device type type, operating system, memory size, processor type, number of processor threads, and graphics information.

This personal information, with the exception of your username, SteamID and country, is never shared publicly.

2. Data Collection

LEZ currently uses third-party software/services to collect data and provide a good player experience. However, these third-party services do not collect personal information as mentioned in the "Personal Information Collected" section.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

The data collected by LEZ is used for the following purposes:

Code Improvement: Information is used to identify and address issues within the LEZ code to improve performance and stability for all hardware.
Game Feedback: Feedback provided by users, such as reviews on the Steam store page or descriptions/comments when reporting bugs, helps improve the game.
Improve and Adapt the Experience: Data collected through in-game activity is used to provide a unique experience for each player in gameplay and social interactions.

No personal data beyond what is mentioned here, such as personal documents or files unrelated to LEZ, is collected.

4. Third-Party Sharing

LEZ may share certain information with the following third-party services:

Steam: LEZ uses Steam for game distribution and other in-game online services. Information collected by Steam is subject to its own privacy policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

LEZ stores user data as follows:

Local storage: LEZ saves scores, configuration values locally as binary data on the user's device.
LEZ accounts: LEZ offers an account data saving system to keep your experience up to date.
Steam Cloud (Optional): LEZ offers the option for users to save their game progress and configuration settings using Steam Cloud, a service provided by Steam. If users choose to enable this feature, their data will be stored securely in their Steam account and synchronized across multiple devices.

Data security is a priority, and appropriate measures are implemented to protect collected information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. User Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their personal information:

Access: Users can access their scores and configuration values within LEZ.
Modification: Users can modify their scores and configuration values within LEZ.

Configuration settings can be read and modified within the game’s settings menu. Other data, such as scores, are visible depending on the selected Beatmap.

7. Children's Privacy

LEZ is intended for users over 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals regardless of whether they are under 13 years of age or not. If we discover that someone under the age of 13 is using LEZ, we will add some limitations for their proper protection.

LEZ does not collect any personal information from players that is not mentioned in this privacy policy, regardless of their age. We prioritize the privacy and protection of our users, and no personal information is collected from the player themselves other than that mentioned in the "Personal Information Collected" box.

8. Updates to the Privacy Policy

To stay informed about updates to the Privacy Policy, users will be notified via email and within the game when a new update is launched. The game will display the latest policy changes and prompt users to accept them.
